Teresa VanOpdorp – Account Executive
For over a decade Teresa has defined herself as a community leader by becoming an integral part of numerous communities, both in her career and as an active volunteer. Her involvement and dedication is immeasurable. Having worked with the Villages of Mount Prospect and Wheeling, as well as, the Prospect Heights and River Trails Park Districts, Teresa has gained an immense understanding of what it takes to truly be a member of the community. As the current Chairman of the Village of Mount Prospect Special Events Commission and Vice-President of the River Trails Parks Foundation, Teresa is responsible for organizing events such as the 3-Day Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk, Family Bike Ride, Celestial Celebration Shining Stars Event, Fine Arts/Blues Festival, Christkindle Market, New Years Eve Eve and more.
As the point person for all district marketing and events for the River Trails Park District, Special Events Commission for the Village of Mount Prospect and the River Trails Parks Foundation, Teresa established community event opportunities, comprised print materials, obtained sponsorships and developed and maintained the district website.
As the Social Media Manager for Marketing & More, Teresa elevates clients’ social media platforms on outlets such as Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn. She ensures that client pages are active, engaging and effective, while constantly focusing on the social reputation of each organization. Teresa’s engaging personality and consistent, relevant updates showcase clients’ at their best – Increasing awareness and driving traffic.
Melissa Finn – Creative Designer
Melissa possesses extensive layout and design experience in both print and web. She has developed brand and corporate identities, websites, direct mail and reports for clients in the real estate, education and non-for-profit industries.
As the Regional Graphics/Marketing Coordinator for Coldwell Banker, she developed and implemented marketing materials for Coldwell Banker’s Northwest Region. Her experience enabled her to transform the region into a unified corporate identity. Melissa is responsible for the planning and execution of direct marketing campaigns, as well as, corporate, client and staff events.
During her tenure with Chicago Public Schools, Melissa developed user-friendly navigational architecture to facilitate client communication. She was responsible for departmental website design, as well as, creating logos, layouts and marketing materials to serve the Chicago Public School system.
Melissa’s freelance experience includes creating promotional designs for the American Cancer Society’s Northwest Branch including, “Relay for Life”, “Daffodil Days” and “The 2015 Affaire”. In addition, she was responsible for the brand creation and promotional materials for Harvest View Assisted Living Community, along with website and brand creation for Girl Rock Productions Ltd.
